With a unique, enigmatic touch that infuses serious, dark, and dreamy underground elements into every track, foglight has left an indelible mark on the electronic music scene.
Q: Please introduce yourself
I'm foglight, a progressive house DJ & producer from Lebanon.
Q: One person you'd dream to have a coffee with?
Donald Trump. I'd love to see his reaction to my tracks x-)
Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
To control Ableton with my mind—no need for a mouse or controller, just instant writing and tweaking x-)
Q: If you would have been given the chance to do a film score, what movie would you choose and why?
Blade Runner!
Q: Who has been the most influential in your music career? And why?
I've been inspired by Kasper Koman, ARTN, Funksun, Subandrio, Praveen Achary, and Kyotto. Their music gets me hyped because we're all exploring the same niche sub-genre. In this space, we inspire and influence each other the most. These are just some of the names that stand out.
Q: Tell us about your journey, what got you to where you are today?
The consistency of making music, surrounding myself with the right people, and learning to ask for and accept help.
Q: Everyone goes through ups and downs, what’s one habit you adopt to push through the downs?
I just install a new game—it’s my way to reset and recharge ^_^
Q: Can you recall a DJ set or performance of yours that remains unforgettable to you? Where did it take place, and what makes it stand out among all others?
InCircles 2024 in Colombo was an unforgettable experience for me. It was incredibly exciting to perform for a crowd that truly appreciates progressive music, and it felt like such an honor to share the stage with some of my favorite artists.
Q: How has your music style evolved over the years?
I’ve stayed consistent, focusing on improving quality and adding fresh, unique, and weird elements to make my sound stand out. I’ve also learned a lot about mixing and sound design from trance producers I admired, which really helped me level up. This has shaped my style into what it is today.
Q: If you were to venture into another music genre, which one would you choose and why?
Neo-Psychedelia with an Indie Rock fusion. It’s what I’ve been listening to for years when I’m not making music.

Q: Can you recommend a hidden gem in your home country that would be perfect for a rave?
BO18 for its underground vibe—it feels raw and unique. Frozen Cherry for day raving—it’s like raving above the clouds, on top of the world.
Q: Could you tell us about your upcoming releases and plans for the year?
I release music every quarter and hope to sign with a label I’ve admired my entire life in 2025. I’ll keep the details under wraps until it’s official :)
Q: Can you share a fun fact about yourself that most of your listeners are probably unaware of?
I finish around 20 tracks a year but only release 3 of them.
