Kicking off its 2025 schedule, Dennis Cruz and Eddy M’s MÜSE welcomes back Italian DJ/producer Joe Vanditti with his EP, ‘Clean Up’. Starting his career at just 15, his talent and consistency have landed him on labels such as Moan, Bamboleo, Deeperfect, and Libero Records, earning recognition from industry giants like Ilario Alicante and Stefano Noferini. After his previous release on MÜSE alongside Mene, with ‘Antava’ becoming his most-streamed track to date, Vanditti returns with ‘Clean Up’, delivering a vibrant blend of energetic rhythms and tight, prickly beats.
Continuing his run of deep, club-ready tracks, Vanditti’s ‘Clean Up,’ features funky stabs and a head-nodding house swing. Meanwhile, ‘Example’ takes a more direct approach, locking in with a punchy 4x4 beat and whispered vocals that maintain a strong rhythmic pull.
Q: Please introduce yourself
Hi Toka Musik, I'm Joe Vanditti. I'm 32 and I'm a DJ & producer from Naples (IT).
Q: One person you'd dream to have a coffee with?
I would love to have a coffee with Pharrell Williams because I think he's a genius at his job and I think he can help me a lot.
Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I wish I had the superpower of teleportation, to save myself so much stress.
Q: If you would have been given the chance to do a film score, what movie would you choose and why?
I would choose to do the soundtrack of any Quentin Tarantino film, because I think he has an above-average musical culture. PS: I love his films.
Q: Who has been the most influential in your music career? And why?
There's a lot of people that have influenced me in this way, but if I had to choose a few, I think that my parents were the most influential.
Q: Tell us about your journey, what got you to where you are today?
I believe that two important characteristics to achieve your goals are determination and passion.
Q: Everyone goes through ups and downs, what’s one habit you adopt to push through the downs?
Listening to music, of course. And as a good Italian person, cooking.
Q: Can you recall a DJ set or performance of yours that remains unforgettable to you? Where did it take place, and what makes it stand out among all others?
My first time in Pacha Ibiza will certainly remain in my memories forever, because I think it's one of the most iconic dance clubs in the world.
Q: How has your music style evolved over the years?
Listening to all kinds of music and always trying to be avant-garde.
Q: If you were to venture into another music genre, which one would you choose and why?
I would choose hip-hop because it has always been in my life since I was young.
Q: Could you name 3 tracks that got you into electronic music and why?
Dj Sandy vs Housetrap - Overdrive
Harry Choo Choo Romero - Corruption
House of Gypsies - Sume Sigh Say
These 3 overall because they were the first tracks I mixed together.
Q: Can you recommend a hidden gem in your home country that would be perfect for a rave?
I think that the Old River Park was the best location for rave parties in my hometown, because it has the best balance between scenario/landscape/sound.
Q: Could you tell us about your upcoming releases and plans for the year?
There will be a lot of news about it, I don't want to spoil anything. Stay tuned.
Q: Can you share a fun fact about yourself that most of your listeners are probably unaware of?
I think that my listeners don't know that I have a big insect phobia. Once I left the console because there were a lot of wasps around me.
