Q: Please introduce yourself

Hello, this is Reelow from Reecords. I just released a new album called ‘REEBORN’. 

Q: One person you'd dream to have a coffee with?

That would be definitely Salma Hayek. Because she is a goddess. 

Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

Not to get too drunk while drinking. I’m sure it’s obvious why... 

Q: If you would have been given the chance to do a film score, what movie would you choose and why?

That would be a remake of Pocahontas, and maybe I would hire Salma Hayek to act as Pocahontas? 

Q: Who has been the most influential in your music career? And why?

Most probably Loco Dice and Marco Carola. 

Q: Tell us about your journey, what got you to where you are today?

The most important part of my journey was to move from Hungary, from my comfort zone, so I was in challenging times. However, it meant that I met with the most interesting people. I went to the craziest raves, after parties, so I felt what I want to do with my life. Playing and producing music. 

Q: Everyone goes through ups and downs, what’s one habit you adopt to push through the downs?

The worst I can do is not train for a week, I’m not focused if I don’t train. 

Q: What is one pro work ethic that you would recommend to the readers/listeners?

If you are making music in the studio, put your phone on silent for 25 minutes and set an alarm. Then, when it goes off, stand up and check if you have any urgent messages. If not, go back and keep working. 

Q: How has your music style evolved over the years?

Well, it has got definitely faster. From dub and minimal, now it’s more house. Hopefully more timeless. I am also using way more live instruments within my tracks. 

Q: If you were to venture into another music genre, which one would you choose and why?

Rock & Roll, because it’s funnn! 

Q: Could you name 3 tracks that got you into electronic music and why?

C) The Prodigy - Breathe

Why? because I’m old haha. 

Q: Can you recommend a hidden gem in your home country that would be perfect for a rave?

We used to have raves in the woods, secret garden parties and a place called Pilisborosjenő and Kopaszi-gát, near Budapest. It’s next to a lake called Lake Balaton. 

Q: Could you tell us about your upcoming releases and plans for the year?

Well, after the album I’m working on releases for other labels... Let’s say I’m trying to reach and pass my limits. 

Q: Can you share a fun fact about yourself that most of your listeners are probably unaware of?

I’m the guy at the afters or even just at the clubs who stays until the end. Is that fun?

Pioneer was the second DJ mixer I ever had, the first CDJs, and now my first modern turntable also. They’ve have been the number ones in the game since forever, so I hope they will stay innovative and fast with the upcoming projects.
