He is one of the breakthrough artists within the Afro house scene, and this release is another great example of his exceptional music making talent.“Majaneen” opens the release with the fast-paced and flickering melodies of a guitar or similar instrument, there is also an accompanying flute, and jerking notation from the lead synth. Wailing vocals add a ceremonial vibe to this magical track, which has sturdy organic percussion ensuring a dance floor focused energy.“Laafou” is a dynamic combination of mighty percussion and enamouring vocals that are raised up by soaring pads. There is a determination to the relentless plod of the percussion that will get people stomping their feet to the groove of this vivacious track.“Escalera” is built around the chugging rhythms of a looped bass guitar sample, which is combined with the sub-bass frequencies of throbbing synth bass chords. Shakers provide top-end energy, while heavy percussion hits add a stomp to the low-end. Arabic melodies give this track a desert vibe with mystical tension being created by swelling pads.
